I like to move it move it - Madagascar Reviews

I saw a sneak preview, so did not pay for my ticket. Madagascar was amusing and memorable. The combination of some of the actors performances, the selected music and the writing of the various jokes, made this movie fun for many. I know that people from 5 to 50+ had a good time. One gentleman who was there (50+) wanted to know why so many kids were there, because this was an adult movie. The numerous jokes and visual effects will amuse the grown ups who see the movie. There were only a couple that I did not recognize, as they were references to recent adult movies. (I mostly see "kids movies" these last few years.) My 11 year old leaned over before the movie was over to ask if we could buy the movie when it comes out on video/DVD. I buy very few movies, but told her yes, we certainly would get it. If you enjoyed Shrek and it's multiple references to other parts of entertainment, you will likely have a blast. If you enjoy music, then you should see this movie, just to enjoy how the movie's scenes and the soundtrack are so well put together. Madagascar's not perfect, but it's a lot of fun for kids from 5 to 55 at least. Enjoy!
